Food Truck Festivals of America brings its 11th New Bedford Food Truck & Craft Beverage Festival to Fort Taber on Saturday, October 31, 2026. This time around, the event falls on Halloween, which means the usual lineup of food trucks and craft drinks comes with a costume contest, spooky decorations, and a $500 cash prize for the best costume.
General admission runs from noon to 5 p.m. VIP ticket holders get in an hour early at 11 a.m. The event is rain or shine.
What’s on the menu?
Twelve food trucks are confirmed so far. The lineup covers a wide range of cuisines:
- Kono Pizza Cape Cod : pizza kones, wings, fries, mozzarella sticks
- Braised Food Truck : braised meats over rice, mac and cheese, fusion tacos
- Aroma Grill : beef and chicken skewers, steak sandwiches, pastels, fresh-squeezed OJ
- Bem Bōm : Portuguese-American culinary fusion
- Frosty Ice Cream : fall seasonal soft-serve, sundaes, frappes (gluten-free options)
- The Rise Cafe : donuts, boba tea, chicken fried rice, beef banh mi, egg rolls

Food and drinks are purchased separately from admission, so you only spend on what you eat.
What about the drinks?
A dozen beverage vendors are pouring craft beer, hard cider, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. The confirmed list includes Couch Dog Brewing, Alc-A-Chino, Happy Dad, Kit NA, East Regiment, Viva, Loyal 9, NOCA, Alcolo, 90+ Cellars, Long Drink, and Mixed Up Cocktails.
The bar closes 30 minutes before the festival ends, so plan your last round accordingly.
How much are tickets?
Ticket prices range from roughly $10 to $59, depending on the tier. General admission, VIP, and package options are available through Eventbrite. Kids 10 and under get in free.
Cash and credit are accepted at the gate and at most vendors.
Is there a costume contest?
Yes. The $500 Best Costume Prize is the centerpiece of the Halloween theme. Dress up as whatever you want: classic monster, movie character, something original. The winner takes home cash.
What else is there to do?
Beyond the food and drinks, the festival includes live music, an artisan market with local and regional makers, and lawn games. Nine artisan vendors are listed so far, selling everything from crochet plushies and custom disc golf discs to 3D-printed home decor and handmade cutting boards. You can browse the full vendor lineup on the festival page.
Lawn chairs are welcome. Dogs are welcome on leash.
